1948 Local postcard (King Rama IX first issue) 15 Satang, used within Bangkok , tied by Bangkok cds on 5/5/1948, and transit Bangkok G.P.O. cds dated on 6/5/1948 also with arrival Bangkok 12 cds dated 7/5/1948; very nice and early usage of Rama 9 postal card, scarce, edges was slightly trimmed, F. 2491 ไปรษณียบัตรรุ่นแรกรัชกาลที่ 9 ราคา 15สต. ส่งภายในกรุงเทพฯ ประทับตรากรุงเทพ วันที่ 5/5/1948 มีตราผ่านไปรษณีย์กลาง ลงวันที่ 6/5/1948 และตรารับ กรุงเทพฯ 12 ลงวันที่ 7/5/1948 เป็นไปรษณียบัตรที่มีการใช้งานน้อย และใช้ในช่วงระยะเวลาสั้นๆ เนื่องจากค่าฝากส่งในอัตราไปรษณียบัตรในช่วงรัชกาลที่ 9 ระยะแรกๆ เป็นอัตราค่าฝากส่งที่สูงกว่าความเป็นจริง จึงเป็นที่นิยมไม่มากนัก ซึ่งต่อมาได้ลดอัตราค่าฝากส่งลงเหลือเพียง 10 สต. นับว่าไปรษณียบตรรัชกาลที่ 9 ในระยะแรกที่ส่งจริงหายากมาก สภาพสวย-สวยมากม ขอบริมของไปรษณียบัตรด้านซ้ายถูกตัดออกเล็กน้อย ไม่มีผลต่อดวงแสตมป์ (1)
